Almaty sightseeing tour with a visit to Medeo and Shymbulak

The tour program allows you to get acquainted with the history and  main sights of the city, and enjoy the beauty of the mountains, by visiting Small Almaty gorge with its famous alpine sports complex Medeo and the Shymbulak ski resort.

First part of the tour passes through the central part of Almaty and covers many sights. A walk here allows you to see the old buildings of the city and cathedrals that are steeped in history, take a walk through the famous Almaty park and city squares. The program also includes a climb to Kok-Tobe mountain, which offers just an amazing view!

Second part of the tour will introduce you to one of the world’s largest alpine complex for winter sports – Medeo. Here you can go ice skating, make memorable photos with a falcon, dressed in Kazakh national clothes, or just take a walk around the complex. And above Medeo is the Shymbulak ski resort, which is climbed by cable car. By the way, for special thrill you can choose a cabin with a glass floor!

To make your day even more pleasant, the program includes lunch in a beautiful restaurant in the Medeo complex, as well as tea, coffee or mulled wine (one of your choice) in the Shymbulak ski resort.

IMPORTANT: Moving between locations is carried out by taxi (Yandex). The cost of taxi services is included in the tour price.
